Two things us Brits like doing is shopping and talking about the weather. This particular January has been a great conversation piece. The sales have, by all accounts, been fantastic but the weather has prevented us from getting to them. Why not turn both to your advantage and spend an afternoon doing a bit of clothes reorganising. Take everything out of your wardrobe and make an honest assessment of each piece. When did you last wear it? Does it go with anything else you’ve got? Do you still like it? Does it still fit? Put everything you’re not sure about to one side, and hang the rest back in your wardrobe in some kind of order ¬ perhaps by colour, or even by item type. Now, what are you going to do about those ‘not sure of’ items? You could give them away (perhaps to a friend or a charity). You could hold your own informal swap or swish by inviting round some friends. You could even try to earn some cash from your clothes by asking an agency to sell them for you. (For example, take a look at http://www.trashchic.co.uk/buying.htm). Go on … Get sorted!
Good month for a turn out
